SANA’A – The Yemeni Armed Forces have repelled a Saudi infiltration attempt in the province of Bayda, in central Yemen, on Saturday, driving the enemy back with heavy losses and even carrying out a successful counterattack. This was reported by Yemen Press News Agency based on military sources.
The Saudi-led invaders attacked Yemeni positions at the Natea front in Bayda on Saturday, advancing towards the Suran mountain. However, determined resistance by the Armed Forces and Popular Committees of Yemen forced the attackers into retreat. The Saudis suffered an unknown number of casualties during the failed attack.
Subsequently, the Yemeni forces carried out a highly successful counterattack, capturing several military bases and encampments of the Saudi-led forces. Sources confirm that the defenders of Yemen have taken full control over several of these reinforced positions.
