The Foreign Ministry of the National Salvation Government on Thursday condemned the two terrorist bombings in the capital city of Tunisia, Tunis.
The Ministry stressed in a statement the importance of countering terrorism in any part of the world, as it represents the most serious threat to international peace and security. In its statement, the Ministry called for bringing perpetrators, organizers, financiers and supporters of those terrorist acts to justice.
The Ministry expressed the solidarity of Yemeni government with the government of Tunisia, and its support in the field of combating terrorism.
On Thursday afternoon, two suicide bombings targeted police forces in Tunis, killing one police officer and injuring eight other security personnel and civilians. The attack was claimed by Wahhabi terrorist organisation Daesh.
