SANA’A – The Yemeni Air Force, early Tuesday, carried out broad attacks targeting a hangar for military warplanes in Abha airport in southwestern Asir province, Saudi Arabia, said the Armed Forces spokesman.
Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e pointed out that the attacks on Saudi Abha Airport led to a disruption in the air navigation system.
“Saudi regime will not be able to resume air operations due to continued targeting of its airports,” Sare’e said.
Air monitoring centers confirmed that a flight from Dammam to Abha was forced to change its destination to Jeddah International Airport following the air attack on the airport.
On Saturday, the Air Force launched several attacks with Qasef-2K drones on Abha and Jizan airports accurately targeted warplanes hangars and other military targets.
