SANA’A -Foreign Minister of Yemen Hisham Sharaf has on Tuesday held a discussion with the World Health Organization (WHO) Resident Representative in Sana’a, Dr. Altaf Musani, regarding the deteriorating health conditions in Yemen as a result of the ongoing aggression.
The meeting dealt with aspects related to the facilitating of WHO activities and focused on addressing the health disaster caused by the cholera outbreak in a number of provinces.
The WHO representative confirmed that the organisation seeks to strengthen its cooperation with local health centers and institutions in order to provide health services to citizens.
Musani expressed his hope to leave a positive imprint of the organisation’s role in serving the Yemeni people.
