ADEN – A group of militias loyal to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation have raided the house of a former detainee in Aden on Tuesday night and took the inhabitant to an unknown location, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the sources, “The UAE militia attacked the house of Tariq Mohammed Bagash, a former detainee who was jailed and released from Bir Ahmed Prison, on orders of the Public Prosecutor’s office”.
The sources confirmed that Bagash was abducted by the UAE-backed militias who took him to an unknown destination. His fate is so far unknown.
Al-Jazeera Net had published photographs of the man who had been tortured during his earlier detention.
The sources said that Tariq Bagash had been threatened and intimidated by UAE-backed militias to deny the publication of the picture. He refused to stop the picture’s publication, however, which prompted the mercenaries to arrest him again.
