SANA’A – Abdul-Malik al-Ajri, a member of the National Negotiation Delegation, has stressed the need to indicate what the agreement of Sweden exactly sayd regarding Hodeidah, in order to prevent any confusion and fallacies regarding the issue.
“The Hodeidah agreement is not an agreement to test intentions, but is meant for humanitarian purposes and limited measures,” Abdul-Malik al-Ajri said on his Twitter page on Saturday.
“The real test of the parties’ intention and conviction of peace is the political framework as the first step on the road to peace,” he said.
Abdul-Malik al-Ajri confirmed that ”Those who reject the political framework, reject any step towards peace.“
The statement comes after numerous attempts by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to alter the meaning of the Stockholm Agreement in order to serve their own imperialist goals in the area.
