Forces of the so-called Security Belt forces, loyal to the UAE, have on Monday taken control of al-Saylah area in Dar Saad district of the occupied Aden province, after fierce clashes with gunmen backed by Saudi forces.
Sources reported that Aden witnessed violent clashes in which heavy and medium weapons were used and which extended to Sheikh Othman district on Sunday evening.
The confrontations ended with the victory of and control by the Security Belt forces of the Southern Transitional Council over Zahra Khalil, Mahareiq and Saylah areas, and dozens of Saudi-backed gunmen being captured, in addition to a number of deaths and wounded on both sides.

Military pick-up vehicles stormed home of the director general of human resources at the ministry of technical education and vocational training Fuad al-Maqtary in Dar Saad district, the sources added.
