SHABWAH -Saudi-backed forces of the Islah Party have Thursday kidnapped the southern Yemeni journalist Jamal Schneiter, and took him to an unknown destination, local sources reported on Friday.
According to the sources, Hadi forces and the Islah party militias arrested journalist at the Al-Hawta Junction of Azzan checkpoint in Shabwah.

Schneiter is the director of the Shabwah Southern Transitional Council media department and Al Ghad Mashreq Channe’s reporter.
Conflict between Saudi-backed forces such as the Islah (Yemeni branch of the Muslim Brotherhood) and Emirati-backed separatists in southern Yemen has flared up over the past years, claiming thousands of lives.
