SANA’A – A spokesman of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, Minister of Information Dhaifallah Al-Shami, has affirmed Yemen’s solidarity and stand with the Palestinian people in its legitimate struggle until the restoration of all its territory and the establishment of its own independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The spokesman of the government said in a statement that Arab, Islamic and international action is important in order to support the Palestinian people, especially those who are taking part in marches on the occasion of Land Day, in order to end the Israeli occupation and restore the rights of Palestinians and establish their own independent state.
Minister Al-Shami also pointed out that the march of the Palestinians on Earth Day and the escalation of the occupation by the Zionist entity reflects the Palestinian people’s steadfastness and adherence to their land, identity and history.
The government spokesman also stressed that the Palestinian cause is present in the conscience of the Yemeni people and the political leadership, and is considered to be the central issue of the nation despite the suffering that Yemen itself is being subjecte to by the aggression and unjust siege, while much of the Arab world and international community is suspiciously silent.
Since the September 21 Revolution of 2014, Yemen has been a vocal supporter of Palestine and the anti-Zionist struggle, while the Zionist entity of Israel has actively supported the Saudi-led invasion of Yemen with military intelligence and military experts.
