SANA’A – Media sources loyal to the Saudi-led coalition have on Sunday said that a number of political components of Hadi’s government have demanded the dismissal of foreign minister Khalid al-Yamani because of his failure to implement the Stockholm agreement in Hodeidah.
The pro-coalition political components accused al-Yamani and the Saudi ambassador in Aden, Mohammed al-Jaber, of implicating Hadi’s government in the agreement.
They demanded the dismissal of al-Yamani and an immediate decision to not accept the continuation of the work of the official UN envoy in Yemen.
Akhbar al-Youm, the newspaper of the Yemeni Islah Party, had stated that the Sweden agreement has brought the invaders a military disaster on various fronts, and has opened the world diplomatic channels to Ansarullah.
The agreement, signed between the national delegation representing the Sana’a government, and the delegation of the coalition lf aggression against Yemen after talks held in Sweden last December, called for an immediate ceasefire in the province of Hodeidah and a stop to any military reinforcements to the province from either party in the conflict.
