SANA’A – Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, has called out the member states of the Saudi-led invasion coalition for ruining their own economies by their war against Yemen, and for the bltant racism they display in their policies.
Al-Houthi specifically mentioned Sudan, one of the main providers of mercenaries for the conflict. The Chairman said that “Sudan has gone through a financial crisis and the result has (only) been food aid for a province or two.”
On the contrary, al-Houthi remarked, when coalition member Jordan suffered a similar economic crisis, it was showered with financial support by the Saudis. While he didn’t say it outright, al-Houthi implied that the difference in treatment may have been due to a racist attitude towards the African country of Sudan.
“Jordan has experienced a financial crisis and was supported by the announcement of the outcomes of the Mecca Summit of two and five hundred million dollars, Why has Sudan not been treated similarly? Is it a failure of the regime? Or a special look?”
