SANA’A – The head of Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi has said the lies of the Saudi-led coalition, which accused Yemen of using Sana’a International Airport for armed drone flights, are exposed as false by the flights of the United Nations and its daily organizations.
Al-Houthi said on his Twitter page on Sunday that the US-Saudi-coalition’s air embargo on Sana’a International Airport is a weapon meant to increase the suffering of the Yemeni people.
He added that the insistence of the Saudi-led coalition to use warplanes in order to commit attacks against civilians is a war crime, and is tantamount to a rejection of international and humanitarian law.
In another tweet, he called for the formation of an international committee to protect prisoners’ rights, after the Red Cross had failed to protect them earlier.
Al-Houthi said that the Saudi rejection of a humanitarian exchange deal, which was presented through the United Nations, expose the terrorism of the US, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and their military alliance.
