A blast on Saturday at the Dubai City Wedding Hall, located in the Darulaman area of the Afghan capital, has caused numerous casualties.
According to preliminary information, the explosion left 40 dead , but as reported later the channel Tolo News television, the number increased to 63 deaths and over 180 injured.
The blast occurred at 10:40 pm local time in one of the wedding halls in western Kabul. The explosive device was activated by a suicide bomber.
The Taliban group denies its coexistence with the attack.

“A Hazara wedding was targeted in Darulaman area of capital #Kabul. The explosion took place inside the wedding hall, initial reports say: 20 killed and dozens more injured,” one Tweet said.
“Ravaged by the news of a suicide bomb attack inside a wedding hall in Kabul. A heinous crime against our people. How is it possible to train a human and ask him to blow up a marriage?” said President Ashraf’s spokesman.
The attack comes shortly after the eighth round of Taliban-US peace talks , which ended earlier this week, without much progress.

“Video of the incident at a wedding hall in Kabul showing people are shocked and trying to run away from the site,” said another Tweet.
Washington and the Taliban are trying to reach a peace deal that would include the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan in exchange for assurances that the country will not be used as a shelter for terrorists.
Afghanistan, ravaged by war and in crisis for decades, is divided by intense fighting between government troops and Taliban militants, as well as other groups affiliated with al-Qaeda and Daesh [ISIS].
