HODEIDAH – The Local Authority and Executive Offices in Hodeidah province have organized a mass rally on Tuesday in order to denounce and condemn the heinous crimes committed by the mercenaries of the Sudanese forces against an elderly woman. The victim was raped and stabbed in Attohayta, located in the Saudi-occupied south side of the province.
The participants to the rally stressed that this crime is immoral and contrary to Arab values and traditions, and in complete violation of Islamic law, stating that “As this crime is condemned in all heavenly religions, this makes it imperative for us all to act to take revenge upon these mercenaries.”
The participants furthermore deplored the silence of the United Nations, its human rights organizations and the entire world about the horrific crimes against the Yemeni people, including the rape of women.
In a statement issued by the mass rally, the participants condemned the continuation of the aggression and its mercenaries on Yemeni, as well as its crimes and heinous massacres against the Yemeni people.
The statement furthermore denounced the unprecedented international silence about these brutal crimes committed by the Saudi-led war and its mercenaries, which showed that there was complicity by the United Nations and the international community.
The rally stressed the importance of continuing to support the frontlines with men and money, as it is the responsibility of all the people of Yemen.
