RIYADH -The Saudi regime has arrested Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abbad from Al-Ahsa, after he had been summoned by the monarchy three times.
The first summon was a month before the holiday of Ashura, and the second during the night of Ashura itself, and finally last Monday.
Sheikh Al-Abbad had previously been forced to sign a pledge not to address political issues in public.
In the same context, the Saudi regime forces are continuing a series of arrests in Qatif against young men, a number of whom were arrested without any statement on the reasons for their arrest.
Saudi Arabia is notorious for its persecution of religions scholars and jurists, both Sunni and Shia, in a merciless crackdown against those who disagree with the doctrines of Wahhabism and the policies of crown prince MBS.
