SANA’A – The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, said that the US-Saudi coalition countries bombed the port of Hodeidah, within the plan approved by the United States of America.
Al-Houthi considered the bombing of the port, despite the warning issued by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, as an evidence of its leadership’s disregard for the famine and humanitarian crisis, as well as the lack of recognition of the international role of peace.
He stressed that the bombing of the port came within the plan approved by the United States of America, which considered the port s a target must be destroyed.
Since 2015, thousands of civilians, mostly children and women have been killed by Saudi airstrikes. Reports say that the Saudi-led coalition is committing daily crimes in Yemen.
The Saudi war has resulted in bringing famine to more than 14 million Yemeni civilian, which is half the population. According to Oxfam, a civilian is being killed because of the war every three hours. Moreover, the UN says that a child dies every 10 minutes due to starvation.
