ADEN – A group of militants loyal to the United Arab Eremites (UAE) occupation forces have on Sunday attacked a citizen and set fire to his house in the southern city of Aden, local sources told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.
The citizen, Wali Cocoa Awad, has confirmed that gunmen belonging to the UAE-backed militias Samad Sinah and Zaki al-Zali, attacked his house in the Bir Fadl area of Dar Saad. They assaulted him and set fire to his house, according to his report.
He explained that he went to the local authorities in the district, but they denied their connection or relationship with any of these attacks, and claim they never knew about it.
Awad asserted that he did not have any weapons during the incident, Aden al-Ghad reported, thus refuting claims that he had engaged in a gunfight with UAE mercenaries.
According to the sources, Awad had previously been abducted and placed in a labour camp island prison, where he was subjected to various kinds of brutal torture by UAE-backed militias.
